Green Mountain Flight Academy is located at Mansfield Heliflight’s Heliport (VT96) in Milton, Vermont. Our unique location is minutes away from both controlled and non-controlled airports. This setting gives our students the ability to gain experience and exposure in both environments. Green Mountain Flight Academy’s location also provides amazing views of Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains, and Adirondack Mountains.

Green Mountain Flight Academy was established in 2011 by Mansfield Heliflight. Mansfield Heliflight is a business specializing in aircraft maintenance and sales and has been in operation since 1986. In 2010 Mansfield Heliflight expanded its focus on flight training and establish Green Mountain Flight Academy.

Eric is the founder of Mansfield Heliflight. Eric has more than 5000 hours of experience flying various types of helicopters. He holds both A&P and IA licences in addition to his flight instructor certificate.
Brad Carlson- CFII, Chief Pilot Mansfield Heliflight
Brad has been working for Mansfield Heliflight for 4 years. Brad has more than 3000 hours in both turbine and piston powered helicopters. He has experience flying firefighting and tours.
Tyler Roy- CFI
Tyler has been working for Mansfield Heliflight for 3 years. Tyler completed all of his flight training at Green Mountain Flight Academy in 2012 and was hired as a flight Instructor.
